SMOOTHING MATCHA MASK

We are used to drinking matcha tea in various forms: ceremonial, latte, and matcha cocktails. When we drink this tea, we absorb all its substances. However, have you ever thought that we can experience the benefits of tea not only by drinking it but also by using it on the body? Matcha tea is rich in antioxidants that promote regeneration – thus our bodies become more resistant to viruses and bacteria. However, it also helps to maintain young, clear skin.

Using various masks, we nourish our tired skin and help it regain its color.
• Especially face masks – they eliminate skin darkening and redness.
• Scrubs can be used to remove dead skin cells, activate capillaries and eliminate bacteria.
• Creams also promote skin nutrition and constant hydration.

Well, perhaps most importantly, it should be mentioned that the renewal of skin cells slows down the aging process.
For thousands of years, Japanese monks used matcha tea not only as a drink to express good luck and respect but this green tea was also believed to be healing.
When creating creams, monks used this tea to treat burns, scars, or minor wounds. Over time, it was noticed that the creams made the skin of their hands especially soft. This led to using on the body and face as well. By mixing different ingredients, each mask had a different effect. Countless masks have been created with varying effects. Women were especially interested in facial tightening, brightening, and rejuvenation masks. Men chose cleansing and soothing masks.
